3d props

these are some prop designs i made for a background i was helpin with at school.
i think i went overboard with the amount of props i designed, but it was fun makin all this stuff. google is the best for reference's! the theme of the bg was an inventor's workshop. i modeled all sorts of items such as a rotary phone, a phonograph, an alarm clock, a steam powered fan?!, test tubes and glass containers, books, a richter scale, and the list goes on.

i heard about a toon shader effect in maya and tried it, check out the outcome, pretty cool!
