quick color

ay ya'll. this is a quick little color job i did on a sketch i drew of a model in life & gesture last quarter. i should of inked it but i let photoshop take care of that. i finally got some time to post now that im on springbreak. ima color some more things i found while i was going through my sketches of last quarter. and i found some stuff from my first quarter that i want to post too so ill do that fo sho'! other then that marinate on this till then!

oliver roberts

this is another turnaround drawing i did for character & object design class. his name is oliver roberts and he's suppose to be a detective from the victorian era, but he looks more like a circus ring leader!?! i think it's the top hat! i did the turn around of his general basic detail and posture. i did a finished piece of his head at the top. shot out to the homie grady for holdin it down in class! respect!

rebel jungle frankenstein

this turnaround drawing was an assignment i did for my character & object design class. the premise of the drawing was frankenstien rebuilt for war. i went with the jugle rebel look. to scale he' 7'2, 400 lbs, and sports a mean ass cannon! soldiers dont stand a chance!

life & gesture

these are some of my sketches that i like from life & gesture class. i really was pushing on construction of the model befor i jumped into finishing the drawing. i think its nice to make a really good drawing quickly with shade and all that, but its more of a challenging to make an accurate drawing of what's going on in the inside of the models body, rather than what i may see just on the outside of the models body. one thing that really helped me was learning the "glass technique," or "drawing to infiniti." shot outs to the OG Jerry Brice for droppin knowledge on how real artists draw! oh an big ups to the homie Glen Vilppu too!

back again! pen&ink stylee

for the very first time!, dont worry if cash checks, i draft lines! ah, alittle dialated line for those that know whats up! its been a good minute since i last posted. i finally got my scanner hooked back up and i though i might get some new stuff posted. these are some observational pen & inks i was messin with. i did up some closepins form different angles. i also did my shoe from my right foot, and lastly i did the last dollar in my wallet. this was a fun little session that i had cuz i just picked the subject matter at random. usually im picky about what i draw, but this time i just said fuck it.
